The Ministry of Agriculture continues its emergency response in the towns and villages of Ramallah Governorate by supporting an affected farmer in Al-Mughayyir

The Ministry of Agriculture continued its emergency interventions to support farmers affected in towns northeast of Ramallah. Through Ramallah and Al-Bireh Directorate of Agriculture, it provided urgent assistance to a livestock breeder in the town of Al-Mughayyir after he was attacked by settlers who stole his sheep, his primary source of income.

In a display of community solidarity and mutual support, residents of Al-Mughayyir quickly rallied to the farmer's aid, collecting donations to help him regain his livelihood and rebuild his farm. This act underscored the resilience of Palestinian society and its refusal to abandon farmers to face attacks by the occupation and its settlers alone.

Further to these efforts, the Ministry of Agriculture distributed 20 bales of alfalfa and vetch (weighing 450 kg each) as part of its relief interventions aimed at supporting farmers' steadfastness and strengthening their ability to remain on their land. This intervention follows a field visit by a delegation from the Prime Minister's office, headed by Minister of Agriculture Professor Rizq Salimiya, who emphasized the importance of national unity at this stage and strengthening the resilience of citizens in the face of attacks by the occupation and its settlers.

The Ministry affirmed that its emergency interventions will continue in the targeted areas, stemming from its national and humanitarian responsibility towards farmers, supporting their steadfastness and protecting their livelihoods, as they are the first line of defense for Palestinian land.
