Ministry of Agriculture: Slaimiya praises the role of the National School of Administration in training government leaders and enhancing the efficiency of institutional performance

The Ministry of Agriculture participated today, Monday, in the graduation ceremony for a new class of department and division heads, organized by the Palestinian National School of Administration at its headquarters in Ramallah. The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the School's Board of Directors, Minister Musa Abu Zeid, and its Executive Director, Undersecretary Wajdi Abdel Halim, along with a number of ministers, undersecretaries, and representatives of official institutions.

The Minister of Agriculture, Professor Riziq Slaimiya, emphasized the importance of investing in human capital development within the public sector, considering it a fundamental pillar for improving the quality of government services and enhancing institutional performance. He commended the pioneering role of the Palestinian National School of Administration in preparing and qualifying administrative leaders, raising their efficiency, and equipping them with modern skills and competencies.

Slaimiya also praised the efforts of those in charge of the school, headed by Minister Musa Abu Zeid, in developing the government training system and designing high-quality programs that meet the needs of institutions, thus contributing to building a government apparatus capable of keeping pace with developments and promoting modern management concepts. He noted that the Ministry of Agriculture places particular importance on building the capacities of its staff through participation in specialized training programs and adopting a continuous development approach. This positively impacts the quality of services provided to farmers and contributes to supporting sustainable agricultural development.

This training program is part of the Palestinian National School of Administration's efforts to enhance the efficiency of executive leaders. It targeted 256 trainees from 29 government institutions, including the Ministry of Agriculture, within a comprehensive training program covering modern management and leadership topics.

On the general front, the Minister addressed the difficulty of the current phase and the magnitude of the political, security, and economic challenges. He called on everyone to unite, rise above past grievances, maximize positive outcomes, activate constructive initiatives, foster constructive and sustainable social solidarity, and engage in the production process as the foundation of resilience.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates were distributed to the graduates, with emphasis placed on the importance of continuing to invest in developing human resources and enhancing the readiness of government personnel to face challenges and achieve sustainable development.
