Ramallah and Al-Bireh Agriculture Directorate, represented by the Beekeeping Section of the Agricultural Extension Department, concluded a specialized training course on post-harvest honey procedures. The course targeted 15 beekeepers in the town of Deir Abu Mash'al, as part of its efforts to enhance beekeepers' skills and improve the quality of Palestinian honey production.

The two-day course covered best practices in handling honey after harvesting, including sorting, filtering, packaging, and storage according to health and technical requirements. This contributes to maintaining the product's quality and safety, and increasing its market value.

The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that this course is part of the Beekeeping Section's programs within the Agricultural Extension Department, which aim to develop the beekeeping sector, build beekeepers' capacities, and disseminate modern extension practices that contribute to improving production quality and increasing the efficiency of apiary operations.

The Ministry continues to implement its extension and training programs in various governorates to support beekeepers and promote the sustainability of this vital sector, which will positively impact the quality of Palestinian honey and improve the income of those working in it.
