Ramallah and Al-Bireh Agriculture Directorate , in cooperation with FAO, conduct a training on the proper management of farms and dairy products for 18 female farmers in Yabroud, with funding from the European Union.

Ramallah and Al-Bireh Directorate of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), conducted specialized training on sound farm management and proper handling of dairy products. The training targeted 18 female farmers working in the livestock sector in the town of Yabroud, as part of the project "Strengthening the Skills and Practices of Livestock Breeders at All Stages of the Animal Value Chain in the West Bank – Palestine," funded by the European Union.

The training covered several specialized technical topics, including sound farm management, mechanisms for maintaining the quality and safety of dairy products, promoting hygiene practices on farms, and improving livestock production efficiency.

The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that this training is part of its efforts to develop the capacities of livestock breeders and enhance the technical skills of women working in the sector, thereby contributing to improved quality of animal products, increased production efficiency, and enhanced marketing opportunities and sustainability.

This activity is part of a series of interventions aimed at empowering rural women and strengthening food security, through the partnership between the Ministry of Agriculture and  (FAO), with support from the European Union.
