Jericho and Jordan Valley Agriculture Directorate , in partnership with FAO, concludes a training program on farm management and health safety for dairy products, with the participation of 30 beneficiaries.

Jericho and Jordan Valley Directorate of Agriculture, in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), concluded a specialized training program on farm management and dairy product safety in Deir al-Fouqa area, with the participation of 30 beneficiaries.

The program covered several topics related to best practices in farm management and dairy product safety requirements, contributing to raising participants' awareness and enhancing their ability to implement healthy practices during the production and processing of food products.

The program also included practical training for female farmers on how to make cream cheese, aiming to develop their skills in dairy product manufacturing and utilizing available resources, thereby enhancing product quality and increasing its economic value.

The Ministry of Agriculture affirms its commitment to continuing such training programs in partnership with FAO, given their role in developing the capacities of farmers, promoting sound agricultural and food practices, supporting livelihoods, and improving the quality of local agricultural and food products.
