Yatta Directorate of Agriculture and Veterinary Services organized a training workshop on identifying marketing opportunities. The workshop targeted 15 beneficiaries from the Yatta, As-Samu, and Ar-Rihya areas, as part of the "EVAP 3" project implemented in partnership with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). This initiative falls within the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to enhance farmers' marketing capabilities and support rural development.

The workshop addressed the importance of identifying markets and sales centers, mechanisms for seeking marketing opportunities, and strengthening communication and networking with marketing entities. This aims to develop participants' skills, improve their marketing opportunities, and increase the competitiveness of their agricultural products in local markets.

The workshop aimed to equip beneficiaries with the knowledge and skills necessary to market their products effectively, thereby contributing to the sustainability of their agricultural projects, improving market access, and increasing the economic returns from agricultural production. This workshop is part of a series of training and guidance activities implemented by the “Evab 3” project in partnership with (JICA), within the framework of the Ministry of Agriculture’s efforts to empower farmers and entrepreneurs, promote sustainable agricultural development, and improve the competitiveness of agricultural products in the markets.
