Tulkarem Directorate of Agriculture, in partnership with the Applied Research Institute - Jerusalem (ARIJ) and Save the Children, and within the framework of the "Towards a Better Future for Children and with Their Participation" project, completed the distribution of agricultural supplies to 50 beneficiary farmers in the towns of Kafr al-Labad, Bal'a, and Anabta. This followed the completion of the project announcement procedures, the submission of applications, and field inspections by specialized committees to verify the beneficiaries' eligibility and compliance with the project criteria.
The agricultural assistance provided included a range of essential supplies to support safe farming practices, such as regular irrigation networks, agricultural equipment, licensed and approved pesticides and fungicides, fertilizers, and other materials that contribute to improving safe agricultural production and enhancing its sustainability.
This project aims to support farmers and promote safe and sustainable farming practices, thereby contributing to the development of the agricultural sector and improving the economic conditions of the beneficiaries.
