Tubas and Northern Jordan Valley Directorate of Agriculture, in partnership with the Applied Research Institute – Jerusalem (ARIJ) and accompanied by the Mennonite Central Committee, conducted a field visit to the town of Atouf and its surrounding areas, including Ras al-Ahmar and al-Nakab.

The visit included a meeting with representatives of the Atouf Village Council, as well as visits to the facilities of several beneficiaries of the project "Strengthening the Resilience and Productivity of Vulnerable Small-Scale Livestock Breeders in Palestine," implemented by ARIJ in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and funded by the Mennonite International.

The visit aimed to identify the most prominent problems and challenges facing farmers and livestock breeders in the region, particularly in light of the increasing violations targeting Bedouin and agricultural communities, in addition to monitoring the project's results and outputs and their impact on improving the lives of beneficiaries. It is noted that during the past two years, the project targeted more than 68 farmers, as part of efforts to enhance the resilience of small livestock breeders, improve their productivity, and support the sustainability of their livelihoods in threatened areas.
