‏ Directorate has completed field verification for 17 farmers nominated to benefit from the EU funded program with grants totalling approximately 1.61 million shekels

The executive team for the agricultural assistance program at the North Hebron Agriculture Directorate conducted field visits to farmers nominated to benefit from the EU-funded agricultural assistance program. These visits, part of the program's second implementation phase, aimed to complete the necessary field verification procedures for grant eligibility and to ensure that the nominated beneficiaries and projects met the approved criteria.

The program targets 17 farmers in North Hebron, with a total estimated grant value of €452,657 (approximately 1.61 million NIS).

These visits are part of the Ministry of Agriculture’s operational procedures to ensure that assistance reaches those entitled to it and that grants are directed toward actual agricultural needs and priorities. This approach contributes to the development of agricultural projects and the improvement of livelihoods for the targeted farmers.

The Ministry emphasized that implementing the second phase of the agricultural assistance program is part of its efforts to bolster farmers' resilience, support their ability to continue working and producing, and protect their income sources, thereby strengthening the resilience of the agricultural sector in the targeted areas.
