North of Hebron Agriculture Directorate, represented by its Director General, Engineer Osama Jarar, and the Director of the Services Department, Engineer Adiba Al-Zaqaqiq, participated in a meeting organized by Halhul Municipality with farmers affected by the Israeli occupation's attacks on large areas of the town's land.

The meeting took place in Halhul Municipality Hall, in the presence of the Mayor, Mr. Jihad Abu Asba; the Assistant Governor of North Hebron, Mr. Musa Haroun; the Secretary of the Halhul Organizational Area, Mr. Khaled Arman; the Head of the North Hebron Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, Mr. Mahmoud Allan; the Director General of Civil Affairs, Mr. Bashar Al-Tarwa; the Director of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Mr. Zayd Hmeidat; the Director of Agricultural Relief, Engineer Fajr Al-Atawneh; as well as representatives from the Land Research Center, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (represented by Mr. Nidal Al-Hatba), the Abdul Khaliq Allan Ambulance Center (represented by Mr. Muhammad Allan), and a number of representatives from official and non-governmental organizations, in addition to a large number of affected farmers.

The Directorate's Directorate included representatives from the Land Research Center, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (represented by Mr. Nidal Al-Hatba), the Abdul Khaliq Allan Ambulance Center (represented by Mr. Muhammad Allan), and a number of representatives from official and non-governmental organizations, in addition to a large number of affected farmers.

The Directorate of Agriculture in North Hebron, represented by Engineer Adiba Al-Zaqaqiq, participated in a meeting organized by the Halhul Municipality with farmers affected by the Israeli occupation's attacks on large areas of the town's land. This meeting comes as part of ongoing efforts to address the needs of citizens and farmers, and aims to explore ways to intensify field efforts and enhance joint coordination to facilitate farmers' access to their lands and enable them to cultivate and invest in them during the current agricultural season, despite the challenges and repeated attacks targeting the land and its inhabitants in the northern and eastern areas of the town.

Participants emphasized the importance of continued joint action and unified efforts to support the resilience of farmers and strengthen their presence on their lands, considering this a national and societal priority, and contributing to the protection and preservation of agricultural lands. They also stressed the need to develop an action plan based on intensified efforts by all partners to facilitate farmers' access to their lands and enable them to work on them sustainably.
