The North Hebron Agriculture Directorate conducted a specialized training program on agricultural marketing on Sunday and Monday. The program targeted 25 beneficiaries of production grants under the "Mubadarati" (My Initiative) project and was held at the headquarters of the North Hebron Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Halhul. The program was inaugurated by the Chamber’s Chairman, Mr. Mahmoud Allan, and the Director General of the North Hebron Agriculture Directorate, Engineer Osama Jarrar.

The training was part of the activities of the "Mubadarati" project—specifically the olive and field schools component—implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture with funding from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). It featured specialized agricultural marketing trainers and was conducted in collaboration with the project’s marketing component supervisor and the Ministry of Agriculture’s Director of Exhibitions and Festivals, allowing participants to benefit from specialized technical and marketing expertise.

The program focused on developing the beneficiaries' knowledge and practical skills regarding the marketing of agricultural products, understanding market needs and requirements, and improving product display and promotion methods. It also aimed to enhance their ability to identify marketing opportunities and increase the value-added of their products.

This program is part of the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to develop value chains for plant-based agricultural products and to boost the competitiveness and market access of small-scale agricultural projects. These efforts contribute to improving economic returns for farmers, supporting the sustainability of their production projects, and transforming agricultural production into more effective and sustainable economic opportunities.
