Ministry of Agriculture: North Hebron Agriculture Directorate and Arab Bank volunteers carry out a volunteer day at Al-Aroub Nursery

A number of volunteers from the Arab Bank joined Ministry of Agriculture staff in a volunteer work day at Al-Aroub Forest Nursery, which belongs to the Ministry of Agriculture. This initiative aimed to strengthen community partnerships, promote a culture of volunteerism, and serve the environment.

The volunteer day included a range of agricultural activities, such as planting seedlings, filling planting bags, transporting seedlings to propagation sites, and watering and caring for them. These activities contribute to supporting forest seedling production and improving the environment.

Participants in the activity included the Director General of the North Hebron Agriculture Directorate, Engineer Osama Jarar; the Director of the Technical Department, Engineer Mahmoud Al-Maghrabi; and the Nursery Manager, Engineer Ibrahim Masha'leh, along with the nursery staff. They emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering a sense of social responsibility and strengthening collaborative work with various institutions. This activity comes within the framework of the General Directorate of Forests and Rangelands plan in the Ministry of Agriculture, which aims to produce 100,000 forest seedlings, in preparation for planting them in cooperation with local authorities, schools, civil society institutions, the security establishment and citizens, in order to contribute to expanding the green area and preserving the environment.
