Ministry of Agriculture: North Hebron Agriculture and the Young Women and Christian Association follow up on the results of the project to distribute 4,000 olive seedlings to 92 farmers in Al-Shuyoukh and Beit Ula.

As part of monitoring agricultural projects and evaluating their results in the field, the North Hebron Agriculture Directorate conducted an inspection and guidance visit to farmers benefiting from the olive sapling distribution project, which was implemented during the last agricultural season in partnership with the Young Women's and Young Men's Christian Association (YWCA).

The visit included the head of Beit Ula Extension Unit, Engineer Mustafa Al-Bu, along with YWCA representative, Engineer Fatima Al-Shalalda. They inspected the olive saplings planted by the farmers, reviewed their growth stages, and assessed the project's results. They also provided necessary technical guidance on sapling care, fertilization, irrigation, and pest control to ensure successful cultivation and optimal growth and yield.

The project involved distributing 4,000 olive saplings to 92 farmers in the towns of Ash-Shuyukh and Beit Ula, with the aim of supporting farmers, promoting the use of agricultural land, and increasing the area planted with olive trees. This visit comes as part of the North Hebron Agriculture Directorate’s plan to follow up on agricultural projects after their implementation, and to provide technical guidance to farmers, which contributes to maximizing the impact of the projects, increasing agricultural production, and improving farmers’ profitability, in line with the Ministry of Agriculture’s strategy aimed at developing the agricultural sector and enhancing farmers’ resilience in partnership with various supporting institutions.
