Ministry of Agriculture: Ramallah and Al-Bireh Agriculture Directorate distributes 430 "large" olive trees to affected farmers as part of the emergency response program

Ramallah and Al-Bireh Directorate of Agriculture implemented a field intervention, distributing 430 olive trees, aged between three and four years, to affected farmers in the villages of Turmus Ayya, Budrus, Beit Ur al-Fauqa, and Burqa, northeast of Ramallah.

This intervention is part of the Ministry's emergency response program, aimed at supporting the resilience of farmers in the targeted areas, particularly following attacks on their lands. Ten families benefited from this initiative, through which the Ministry seeks to rehabilitate damaged agricultural lands and strengthen farmers' attachment to their land.

The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that its policy focuses on enhancing the resilience of farmers on their land through the implementation of urgent and sustainable field interventions and the activation of rapid response mechanisms via the Response Fund. This ensures the continuity of agricultural production and the protection of natural resources in the affected areas. For his part, the Director General of the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Agriculture Directorate, Engineer Zafer Al-Hamshari, explained that the Directorate continues to implement the Ministry's directives by intensifying technical and field support for farmers, thereby contributing to strengthening their resilience and protecting the land and national identity.

In the same context, the Ministry of Agriculture expresses its thanks and appreciation to Major General Al-Abd Ibrahim Khalil, Commander of the National Security Forces, and all officers and non-commissioned officers, for their efforts in securing and providing the necessary vehicles for transporting the seedlings, which contributed to the success of this field intervention.
