Ministry of Agriculture: Nablus Agriculture Directorate conducts practical training on food preservation and pickling for 10 beneficiaries from the Naqoura Charitable Society

Nablus Directorate of Agriculture, represented by the Agricultural Extension Department, conducted an educational lecture and practical training session for a group of women from the Naqoura Charitable Society. This initiative aimed to enhance their domestic and productive skills related to food processing.

Engineer Mona Al-Omari, Head of the Rural Development Department, led the training, which focused on proper and healthy methods for food preservation and pickling. The practical component included a hands-on demonstration of pickling spring cucumbers, coinciding with the harvest season in the governorate's agricultural areas.

Ten women benefited from the training. This activity is part of the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to support and empower rural women and promote the utilization of seasonal agricultural products, thereby contributing to improved family incomes and food sustainability.
