Ministry of Agriculture: Nablus Agriculture Directorate conducts an educational lecture on safe food and food processing for 12 women from the Naqoura Charitable Society

Nablus Directorate of Agriculture, under the supervision of the Agricultural Extension Department, conducted an educational workshop for 12 women members of Al-Naqoura Charitable Society. This workshop was part of the Directorate's efforts to promote nutritional awareness and empower rural women.

The workshop, presented by Engineer Mona Al-Omari, Head of the Rural Development Department, addressed mechanisms for obtaining safe food and the importance of utilizing available household resources for food production without preservatives. This approach contributes to improving the quality of homemade products and promoting public health.

The workshop also focused on encouraging women to adopt healthy and safe food production practices and to utilize available household resources to develop value-added food products.

This workshop is part of a series of educational activities that will be implemented for the benefit of the Society's members. These activities encompass both theoretical and practical aspects of food processing, contributing to the development of their skills and enhancing their capacity for home-based production.

The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that these activities fall within its ongoing plan to support rural women, enhance food security, and enable families to improve their sources of income through sustainable production projects.
