Ministry of Agriculture: Nablus Agriculture Directorate conducts an educational lecture on sheep farm management in Bazaria with the participation of 15 beneficiaries

The Extension Department at Nablus Directorate of Agriculture, in cooperation with Bazaria Mutual Benefit Association in the town of Bazaria, conducted a specialized training workshop on sheep farm management. This workshop is part of the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to support rural women and enhance their participation in the livestock sector.

The workshop was organized by the Head of the Rural Development Department, Engineer Mona Al-Omari, in cooperation with the association's management. This workshop is part of a series of weekly training sessions aimed at developing women's skills in sheep breeding and management.

The workshop was presented by Engineer Samer Hanani, who discussed the fundamentals of establishing livestock farms, the best technical and administrative methods for managing sheep farms, and guidelines related to nutrition, healthcare, and production improvement.

Fifteen female farmers from the association participated in the workshop. The Nablus Directorate of Agriculture emphasizes the importance of these extension programs in economically empowering rural women and encouraging them to invest in livestock production projects, thereby contributing to food security and improving the income of rural families.
