Jenin Directorate of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and through the Improvement of Extension for Value-Added Agriculture (EVAP 3) project, organized a field trip to Tulkarem Governorate entitled "Finding Marketing Opportunities." The trip targeted 21 beneficiaries from rural development farmers in the Hakouretna Association in the town of Arraba.

The trip comes within the framework of the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to enhance farmers' capabilities and enable them to access more efficient and profitable markets by learning about successful experiences in agricultural and rural production, processing, and marketing.

The trip included a visit to a women's association in the town of Anabta, where participants learned about the association's products and marketing mechanisms. It also included a visit to a dairy factory in the town of Kafr Jamal, as well as a visit to a pioneering farm specializing in the production, processing, and marketing of bee products. The tour concluded with a visit to a center specializing in marketing rural products, operating through the Development Action Association. Participants learned about networking and marketing mechanisms for various types of rural products, which contributes to opening new marketing opportunities for farmers and rural families.

This tour is part of a series of extension and training activities implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture through the EVAP 3 project. The project aims to develop the rural development sector, enhance food security, achieve sustainable agricultural development, and improve the income levels of rural families. Implemented in cooperation with (JICA), the project is one of several programs designed to develop agricultural production, improve resource management, strengthen farmers' resilience, and empower rural women.
