Hebron Directorate of Agriculture, represented by the Director of the Beekeeping Department at the Ministry of Agriculture, Engineer Nader Al-Karky, and the Head of the Beekeeping Section at the Directorate, Engineer Amira Mujahed, has begun conducting field visits to apiaries in areas under its jurisdiction. The purpose of these visits is to estimate honey production quantities and examine its quality, as part of the regular monitoring program for the beekeeping sector.

These visits aim to estimate the expected honey production for the current season, collect honey samples for necessary laboratory testing, and ensure their compliance with approved standards. This contributes to consumer protection, enhances confidence in Palestinian honey, and supports beekeepers in improving the quality of their production.

The Directorate emphasizes that these visits are part of the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to develop the beekeeping sector, improve the quality of Palestinian honey, and enhance its competitiveness in local markets. This will positively impact the sustainability of the sector and improve the income of beekeepers.
