Ministry of Agriculture: Hebron Agriculture Directorate and Sharek Forum conduct an awareness meeting on hydroponics with the participation of 27 women from Jabal Jawhar area

Hebron Directorate of Agriculture, in cooperation with Sharek Youth Forum, held an awareness session on hydroponics targeting 27 women from Jabal Jawhar area. The session aimed to introduce the importance of hydroponics as a modern and sustainable farming method.

The session covered the concept of hydroponics and its implementation, as well as its key advantages in conserving water and agricultural land. It also highlighted the potential for its use in small-scale home-based projects to achieve sustainable agricultural production and improve food security for families.

During the session, participants were educated how to establish simple hydroponic systems and the importance of adopting modern agricultural methods that contribute to preserving natural resources and increasing production efficiency. The session also encouraged women to utilize these technologies to develop their home-based projects and enhance women's economic empowerment.

The Ministry of Agriculture emphasizes the importance of continuing to implement extension and awareness activities aimed at disseminating modern agricultural technologies, strengthening the role of women in sustainable agricultural development, and improving food security for Palestinian families.
