Hebron Directorate of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Services Department and the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, conducted a field visit to Al-Buq'a and Al-Buweira areas adjacent to the bypass road (Route 60) near the Kiryat Arba settlement. The purpose of the visit was to assess and document the damage inflicted on agricultural lands.
During the visit, it was discovered that Israeli occupation forces had uprooted hundreds of grapevines planted along the road in both directions. This occurred amidst ongoing expansion work being carried out by the occupation in the area, causing significant losses for farmers and directly impacting their livelihoods.
The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that these violations are part of a systematic policy targeting Palestinian land and people. It emphasizes the importance of documenting this damage and reporting it to the relevant authorities, as well as working to support the affected farmers and strengthen their resilience on their land.
