The Ministry of Agriculture received the completed rehabilitation works for eight agricultural wells in the town of Nuba, as part of the "Developing Livelihoods and Climate Change Resilience in Palestine" project. This project is funded by the World Food Programme and implemented by the Applied Research Institute – Jerusalem (ARIJ), in cooperation with Nuba Municipality.

The project aims to enhance farmers' resilience and improve their ability to adapt to climate change by developing agricultural infrastructure and improving water use efficiency in the agricultural sector.

The intervention included the rehabilitation of the eight agricultural wells, the implementation of an integrated irrigation network serving the beneficiary lands, the construction of a 1.5 cubic meter water tank, and the provision of a 30-liter fertilizer injector to the system. This will contribute to increasing agricultural production efficiency and improving water resource management.

The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that these projects are part of its ongoing efforts, in cooperation with international partners and local institutions, to support farmers and enhance food security and agricultural sustainability in light of climate and economic challenges.
