Ramallah and Al-Bireh Directorate of Agriculture distributed 24 large bales of straw, each weighing 450 kilograms, to 15 farmers affected by settler and Israeli army attacks in the villages of Ein Arik, Deir Ibzi', and Al-Madiya. This distribution was part of a government-funded emergency response program aimed at supporting farmers and strengthening their resilience.
The assistance targeted farmers affected by the attacks, aiming to mitigate their losses and support livestock breeders by providing essential feed and maintenance for their animals amidst the difficult conditions facing the agricultural sector.
Ramallah and Al-Bireh Directorate of Agriculture emphasizes that this intervention is part of a rapid response to the needs of affected farmers, reaching them directly and providing the necessary support to enhance their ability to remain on their land and farms and preserve their livelihoods.
The Ministry of Agriculture, through its directorates in the governorates, continues to implement the emergency response and intervention program with government funding, to support farmers affected by the attacks of the occupation and settlers, and to strengthen their resilience and protect the agricultural sector, especially in the areas most vulnerable to attacks.
