The Ministry of Agriculture signs an agreement to establish a public park on an area of ​​30 dunums in Al-Jalama, north of Jenin Governorate.

The Ministry of Agriculture signed a cooperation agreement with the Al-Jalama Village Council to establish a public park on an area of 30 dunums of land belonging to the Ministry, as part of the Ministry’s efforts aimed at increasing green spaces, improving the agricultural environment, and providing a natural outlet for citizens in northern Jenin Governorate.

The Ministry of Agriculture was represented in signing the agreement by the Director General of the Jenin Governorate Agriculture Directorate, Engineer Omar Bisharat, on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture, Professor Rizq Salimiyeh, while the Al-Jalama Rural Council was represented by its president, Professor Amjad Abu Farha, where the agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Jenin Governorate Agriculture Directorate.

Engineer Omar Bisharat pointed out that this project is a national project that aims to increase green spaces, which contributes to the development of the region and provides a natural outlet for citizens, in addition to its role in improving the environmental and agricultural reality.

For his part, Mr. Amjad Abu Farha appreciated the role of the Ministry of Agriculture and its continuing efforts in supporting local councils and serving citizens and farmers, stressing that this project will contribute to strengthening the work of the village council and improving the agricultural environment by creating green spaces that serve the people of the region.
