The Ministry of Agriculture, through its veterinary directorates and departments, continues to implement the national livestock vaccination campaign, aiming to enhance livestock health, reduce the spread of diseases, and protect livestock production.
On Monday, veterinary teams carried out vaccinations against brucellosis in the Hebron Governorate. The Central Hebron Agriculture and Veterinary Department in Idhna and Tarqumiya vaccinated 471 head of livestock, benefiting 39 farmers.
Dura Veterinary Department vaccinated 1,003 head of livestock in the areas of Hamza, Al-Koum, Duma, and Al-Dhahiriya, benefiting 143 farmers. Additionally, Yatta Veterinary Department vaccinated 600 head of livestock in Al-Buwaib area, benefiting 30 farmers.
Dura Veterinary Department also administered vaccinations against foot-and-mouth disease to 1,500 head of livestock, bringing the total number vaccinated that day to 3,574 head, benefiting 212 farmers.
The Ministry of Agriculture affirms the continuation of the campaign in all targeted governorates and areas, urging livestock breeders to cooperate with the veterinary teams and adhere to vaccination procedures and instructions, thus contributing to the protection of livestock and enhancing national food security.
