Ministry of Agriculture: The North Hebron Agriculture Directorate is conducting guidance tours in Bani Na’im, Halhul, Nuba and Beit Ula to support farmers of horticulture, irrigated vegetables and greenhouses

In accordance with the Extension Services Department's plan at the North Hebron Agriculture Directorate, agricultural extension agents from Bani Na'im Agriculture and Veterinary Department, Halhul Agriculture Office, Nuba Office, and Beit Ula Office conducted field visits to a number of irrigated vegetable and orchard farmers, as well as greenhouses, in the aforementioned areas.

During the visits, the extension teams provided farmers with a range of technical recommendations and agricultural guidance. This guidance focused on improving irrigation management, fertilization programs, pest and disease control, and methods for dealing with varying climatic conditions, all aimed at enhancing the quality and increasing the quantity of produce.

The visits also included monitoring the crops within the greenhouses, identifying the most significant challenges facing farmers in the field, and working to provide appropriate solutions directly to enhance production efficiency and minimize losses.

The North Hebron Agriculture Directorate confirms that these tours come within the framework of the Ministry of Agriculture’s efforts to promote agricultural guidance and intensify field presence, which contributes to transferring modern experiences and knowledge to farmers, and supporting them in developing their production and achieving the best possible return, in order to enhance the sustainability of the agricultural sector.
