Ministry of Agriculture: The North Hebron Agriculture Directorate, in partnership with Agricultural Relief, conducted a practical training day on pruning and protecting grapevines, with the participation of 30 farmers from Beit Ummar.

The North Hebron Agriculture Directorate, in partnership with the Agricultural Relief organization, conducted a practical training day on pruning and protecting grapevines at Al-Aroub Agricultural Station. Thirty farmers from the town of Beit Ummar participated in the training, which was part of a project to enhance resilience and improve livelihoods for farmers and communities in the face of climate change.

The training included practical application of sound technical principles for pruning grapevines and methods for preventing pests and diseases. This contributes to improving production quality, increasing the efficiency of vineyard management, and enhancing farmers' ability to adapt to climate change.

The training was conducted by Eng. Abdul Jawad Sultan, Director of Al-Aroub Agricultural Station; Eng. Odeh Sabarna, Director of Tree Horticulture Department at the General Directorate of Extension and Rural Development; Eng. Majdolin Al-Rajabi, Head of the Horticulture Department at the North Hebron Agriculture Directorate; Eng. Muhammad Sabarna, Head of the Horticulture Department at Al-Aroub Station; and engineers from the Agricultural Relief organization. This activity comes within the framework of the Ministry of Agriculture’s efforts to promote agricultural practices and develop the capabilities of farmers, which contributes to supporting their resilience and improving the productivity of the grape sector in the governorate.
