Ministry of Agriculture: Ramallah and Al-Bireh Agriculture Directorate Opens a Training Course on Dividing Bee Colonies and Raising Queens.

Ramallah and Al-Bireh Directorate of Agriculture inaugurated a specialized training course today on bee colony division and queen rearing at its headquarters. The course is being attended by a number of beekeepers and those interested in the sector.

The course aims to enhance the skills of beekeepers and strengthen their scientific and practical knowledge of colony division and queen rearing techniques. This will contribute to improved production, increased colony numbers, and the sustainability of this vital sector.

The course includes both theoretical and practical components. Participants will receive the necessary technical information on the fundamentals of queen selection and proper colony division techniques, in addition to field applications that facilitate direct and effective knowledge transfer.

The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that organizing this course is part of its efforts to support the beekeeping sector, develop beekeepers' capabilities, and contribute to enhancing food security and improving farmers' income sources.
