Ministry of Agriculture: Ramallah and Al-Bireh Agriculture Directorate, in partnership with the Beekeepers Association, organize a course in the basics of beekeeping for 25 beneficiaries from Deir Ammar, Beitillu and Jamala.

Ramallah and Al-Bireh Directorate of Agriculture, in partnership with Ramallah and Al-Bireh Beekeepers Association, conducted a training course on the fundamentals of beekeeping at the Deir Ammar Club. Twenty-five participants from the villages of Deir Ammar, Beitillu, and Jamala attended the course.

The course aimed to enhance participants' knowledge of beekeeping and equip them with the essential skills for managing apiaries according to sound technical principles, thereby contributing to increased efficiency and improved productivity in the beekeeping sector.

The first phase of the course focused on theoretical aspects, covering the basics of beekeeping, the components of a beehive, colony needs, and key technical practices in apiary management. It also provided guidance on promoting colony health and improving the quality and production of bee products.

This course is part of the Ministry of Agriculture's programs aimed at developing the capabilities of beekeepers and transferring modern knowledge and techniques to them, in cooperation with partner institutions. This contributes to supporting the beekeeping sector, enhancing its sustainability, and increasing its contribution to agricultural development and food security.
