Ministry of Agriculture: Yatta Agriculture and Veterinary Directorate, in partnership with the FAO, concludes the training program for farm management and health safety of dairy products, in Al-Samou, Al-Rihya and Tel Ma’in.

Yatta Directorate of Agriculture and Veterinary Services concluded its training program on farm management and dairy product safety, implemented in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Twenty farmers from the targeted areas of As-Samu, Arrihya, and Tell Ma'in participated.

The program concluded with the sixth session of a series of awareness lectures and practical training sessions aimed at developing farmers' capacities, promoting sound agricultural and animal practices, and improving farm management efficiency. This, in turn, contributes to enhancing the quality of dairy products and increasing the economic returns for farming families.

The program included six field sessions: two training sessions at the Wadi Jheish Youth Group in As-Samu, two at the Arrihya Association, and two at the Tell Ma'in Youth Group. The sessions focused on applying health and safety standards in the production, processing, and storage of dairy products, as well as best practices in farm management. This activity comes as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and its partners to enhance the capabilities of livestock breeders, and improve the quality of local products, in line with the goals of sustainable agricultural development and improving the livelihoods of farmers in the targeted areas.
