Ministry of Agriculture: Jenin Agriculture Directorate signs an agreement to allocate 25 dunams for the establishment of a public park for the benefit of Raba Village.

The Ministry of Agriculture, through Jenin Agriculture Directorate, signed an agreement with Raba Village Council to establish a 25-dunum public park serving the residents of the village and surrounding areas. This initiative is part of the Ministry's efforts to utilize state-owned land for development and environmental projects that benefit citizens and protect it from encroachment and confiscation attempts by developing it for projects that serve the local community.

The agreement was signed at South Jenin Agriculture Directorate headquarters. On behalf of the Minister of Agriculture, Professor Rizq Slaimiya, it was signed by the Director General of Jenin Agriculture Directorate, Engineer Basem Hammad, and on behalf of Raba Village Council by its Chairman, Mr. Ghassan Al-Bazour. Also in the presence of the Director of the South Jenin Agriculture Directorate, Engineer Lama Abu Bakr, the Director of the Technical Department at Jenin Agriculture Directorate, Engineer Mustafa Amarna, and the Forestry Officer at Qabatiya Agriculture Directorate, Engineer Taher Abu Al-Wafa.

The signing ceremony was attended by The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that allocating this area aligns with its vision to invest its lands in sustainable development projects. This contributes to keeping the land inhabited and utilized for the benefit of citizens, enhancing its protection from encroachment and illegal seizures, increasing green spaces, preserving natural resources, and providing public spaces that improve quality of life and promote environmental development in rural Palestine.

For his part, Ghassan Al-Bazour, head of Raba Village Council, expressed his appreciation for the Ministry of Agriculture's support and responsiveness to the needs of local authorities. He emphasized that the establishment of the park will be a valuable addition to the village, providing an environmental and social haven for residents. It will also contribute to utilizing the land for the benefit of the community, enhancing the area's aesthetic appeal, and instilling a culture of environmental and natural resource conservation.
