Bethlehem Directorate of Agriculture, in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), conducted an exchange field visit for 20 female livestock farmers from the villages of Al-Minya and Marah Rabah. The visit focused on modern farm management and the health and safety of dairy products, as part of the project "Strengthening the Skills and Practices of Livestock Breeders at All Stages of the Animal Value Chain," funded by the European Union.

The program included a visit to a small dairy unit in the village of Um Salmuna, where participants learned about dairy processing methods that adhere to health and safety practices. They also visited a model sheep farm in the town of Tqou', where they learned about modern farm management techniques and their role in improving production and enhancing the sustainability of agricultural projects.

This visit is part of the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to develop the livestock sector and strengthen the capabilities of livestock breeders through the exchange of expertise and best practices, contributing to improved production quality and supporting food security. The visit was facilitated by Kifah Al-Sahouri, Muhammad Al-Basha, Ayman Zawahra, and Tahani Darawi.
