Hebron Governorate Agriculture Directorate, in cooperation with the Hebron Municipality, carried out herbicide spraying operations this morning in the governorate's cemeteries. This is part of joint preventative efforts to reduce the spread of dry and flammable vegetation.
This measure aims to prevent the risk of fires, especially given the high temperatures, and to maintain public cleanliness and the civilized appearance of the cemeteries, befitting their sanctity and holiness, and enhancing public safety in the surrounding area.
The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that these operations are part of a periodic work plan implemented by the Ministry in coordination with local authorities. This plan involves monitoring sensitive sites and taking the necessary preventative measures to reduce environmental and health risks. The Ministry also indicates that such activities will continue to be carried out regularly, contributing to the enhancement of public safety and environmental protection.
