Jerusalem: February 11, 2026

Jerusalem Agriculture Directorate distributed 75 veterinary kits to livestock breeders in targeted areas as part of the "Economic Empowerment of Jerusalemite Families through Agricultural Sector Development and Food Security Enhancement – Resilience" project. This project is funded by the Moroccan Bayt Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif Agency and implemented by the Land Research Center in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Jerusalem Affairs. The distribution, carried out jointly by the Jerusalem Agriculture Directorate, the Land Research Center, and the Ministry of Jerusalem Affairs, targeted 75 livestock breeders in Jabal Al-Mukabber, Nabi Samuel, Al-Khalaileh neighborhood, Beit Iksa, and the Bedouin community of Jaba'.

The distribution of the veterinary kits aims to support the resilience of Jerusalemite farmers and enhance their ability to continue raising livestock by providing essential veterinary care supplies. This, in turn, contributes to improved production, animal health, and enhanced food security in the targeted areas. The Ministry of Agriculture affirms that this activity falls within its ongoing efforts, in cooperation with partners, to support farmers in the Jerusalem Governorate, empower them economically, and enhance their resilience in the face of various challenges.
