Ministry of Agriculture: The Higher Nurseries Committee in Hebron Directorate of Agriculture discussed the development of almond seedling production.

The Higher Nurseries Committee at Hebron Directorate of Agriculture held a meeting with representatives from the agricultural directorates and owners of agricultural nurseries to discuss several issues related to the nursery sector.

The meeting featured constructive discussions and an exchange of experiences and opinions on the most prominent challenges facing nursery owners and ways to develop and improve production quality.

A key focus of the discussion was the cultivation and production of almond seedlings using artificial soil. The technical problems encountered in this type of cultivation were reviewed, along with their causes and possible solutions.

Participants emphasized the importance of studying this topic from both technical and scientific perspectives and reaching clear recommendations that ensure the production of high-quality seedlings and achieve optimal agricultural results.

The meeting also addressed several issues related to nursery licensing and operational regulations, in addition to a number of other observations and topics of interest to the nursery sector in the governorate.

At the end of the meeting, the committee affirmed the importance of continued consultation and coordination between the directorates of agriculture and nursery owners, and following up on the recommendations and proposals put forward, in order to contribute to the development of the nursery sector and the advancement of agricultural production in Hebron Governorate.
