Hebron Directorate of Agriculture, through its Agriculture and Veterinary Department in the town of Idhna, signed support agreements with 29 beneficiaries as part of the project "Improving Food Security for Families Residing in Rural Areas of Hebron and Bethlehem Governorates – Area C."
The support was distributed across several areas, including five beneficiaries in poultry farming (layers and broilers), ten home gardens, and fourteen beneficiaries in the distribution of vegetable seeds and seedlings. This initiative aims to strengthen the resilience of rural families and improve their food security.
This activity is funded by the CRIC Foundation, implemented by the Land Research Center, and supervised by the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture.
The agreements were signed in the presence of the Director of the Agriculture and Veterinary Department in Idhna, Engineer Thae'r Amr, and the project supervisor, Engineer Iyas Abu Rabda.
The attendees emphasized the importance of these interventions in supporting farmers and promoting sustainable agricultural development in the area.
