Ministry of Agriculture: Under the supervision and with the participation of Yatta Agriculture Directorate, and funded by the Italian Cooperation, Ma'an Development Center and Oxfam provide 78 large fodder bales to 49 farmers in Masafer Yatta.

Under the supervision and participation of Yatta Agriculture Directorate, and with funding from the Italian Cooperation, Ma’an Development Center and Oxfam, in partnership with Masafer Yatta Village Council, carried out an emergency relief intervention. This initiative supported 49 farmers across Masafer Yatta localities of Asfi al-Fawqa, Asfi al-Tahta, Tuba, Maghayir al-Abeed, and Lasayfar, as part of the project titled "Providing Emergency Humanitarian Assistance in the Southern West Bank."
The intervention involved the provision of 78 large bales of fodder (weighing 450 kg each) to support farmers and livestock herders and meet their livestock's essential needs, given the difficult conditions facing the agricultural sector and livestock breeders in the area.
This intervention falls within the framework of partnership and collaboration among the Ministry of Agriculture, local and international organizations, and supporting entities. Its goal is to bolster the resilience of farmers and livestock herders and to mitigate the impact of the harsh humanitarian and economic conditions they face.
The Ministry of Agriculture continues to support emergency agricultural and humanitarian interventions, thereby helping to protect farmers' income sources, preserve livestock, and strengthen their resilience and steadfastness on their land.
