Under the supervision and participation of the North Hebron Agriculture Directorate, 13 olive harvesters, 52 plastic sheeting, 660 burlap sacks and other agricultural equipment were delivered to olive farmers in Beit Ula with funding from the (UNDP).

The North Hebron Directorate of Agriculture, with the supervision and participation of its staff and in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), delivered a package of agricultural supplies to olive farmers participating in the field school in the town of Beit Ula, Hebron Governorate. This distribution was part of the "My Initiative – Empowering Marginalized Communities through Investment in Agricultural Business Development" project.

The package included 52 plastic sheets for olive harvesting, 52 liters of liquid organic fertilizer, 530 plastic containers for preparing olive fruit fly traps, 660 burlap sacks, 13 olive harvesters, 13 weed control devices, 13 electric shears, and 13 hand saws. The aim is to improve olive tree maintenance and harvesting practices, reduce agricultural pests, and increase the quality of production.

This intervention is part of the agricultural field school activities implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture to enhance farmers' capabilities, transfer agricultural practices, and provide them with the necessary inputs and tools to develop olive production and reduce the costs of agricultural operations. The “My Initiative” project is implemented in partnership between the Ministry of Agriculture and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with support from the governments of India, Brazil and South Africa through the IBSA Fund, with the aim of supporting sustainable agricultural development, empowering rural communities and enhancing the resilience of farmers.
