Ministry of Agriculture: As part of its emergency response efforts, Ramallah and Al-Bireh Agriculture Directorate distributed 52 bales of fodder to farmers in Abu Falah and Turmus Ayya affected by settler attacks.

Ramallah and Al-Bireh Directorate of Agriculture carried out an urgent field intervention in the towns of Abu Falah and Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, in response to the needs of livestock breeders affected by recent settler attacks targeting agricultural lands and properties in the area.

The intervention included the distribution of 52 bales of hay (large bales of alfalfa and vetch, weighing 450 kg each) to livestock breeders. This initiative aimed to support farmers, strengthen their resilience on their land, and alleviate the burdens they face, especially given the difficult conditions in these areas and the settlers' prevention of free grazing, both on their own land and in grazing areas adjacent to these towns.

It is worth noting that these areas are among the most frequently targeted by settler attacks, which have affected olive trees, agricultural properties, livestock, and irrigation, unfortunately impacting the livelihoods of the residents. The Ministry of Agriculture affirms its continued commitment to implementing support programs for farmers in threatened areas, contributing to the protection of the agricultural sector and strengthening the resilience of citizens and their attachment to their land.

It should be noted that the distributed bales of straw are produced on the lands of the Beit Qad/Jenin station, which belongs to the Ministry of Agriculture.
