⭕ 4,600 new operations were carried out, including 2,200 vaccinations and 2,400 tagging operations, as part of the national campaign.

⭕ The campaign targeted the Khashm al-Daraj and al-Dirat communities in Masafer Yatta, and the Ein al-Bayda and Atouf communities in the northern Jordan Valley.

⭕ 35 livestock breeders in the two areas benefited from today's work, as part of ongoing efforts to protect herds from foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1).

The national campaign for livestock tagging and preventative vaccination against foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1) continued its field work on the fifth day of its fourth week, bringing the cumulative total since its launch to 97,640 vaccinations and tagging operations. This is part of the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to strengthen the animal health system, reduce the spread of epidemic diseases, and protect livestock in the targeted areas. In the Khashm al-Daraj and al-Dirat communities of Masafer Yatta, veterinary teams carried out 1,000 vaccinations against foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1) and 1,200 animal tagging operations as part of the National Livestock Tagging Program. Twenty-eight livestock breeders benefited from the campaign's services.

In the northern Jordan Valley, Tubas Veterinary Department continued its campaign in the Ain al-Bayda and Atouf areas, where 1,200 vaccinations and 1,200 animal tagging operations were conducted, benefiting seven farmers.

The total number of operations completed during this day reached 4,600, including 2,200 vaccination operations and 2,400 tagging operations, bringing the cumulative achievement of the campaign to 97,640 operations since its launch. The Ministry of Agriculture confirms the continuation of the implementation of the national campaign in various targeted areas, which enhances the protection of livestock, raises the level of prevention of epidemic diseases, and contributes to supporting the resilience of livestock breeders and enhancing food security in Palestine.
