⭕ 3,850 new operations were carried out, including 1,900 vaccinations and 1,950 tagging operations, as part of the national campaign.

⭕ The campaign targeted the communities of Jorat al-Jamal and Hariba al-Nabi in Masafer Yatta, and Salhab, Ein al-Bayda, and Atouf in the northern Jordan Valley.

⭕ 40 livestock breeders in the two areas benefited from today's work, as part of ongoing efforts to protect herds from foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1).

The national campaign for livestock tagging and preventative vaccination against foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1) continued its field work on the second day of its fifth week, bringing the cumulative total since its launch to 105,890 vaccinations and tagging operations. This is part of the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to strengthen the animal health system, reduce the spread of epidemic diseases, and protect livestock in the targeted areas.

In the communities of Jorat al-Jamal and Hariba al-Nabi in Masafer Yatta, veterinary teams carried out 1,200 vaccinations against foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1) and 1,300 animal tagging operations as part of the National Livestock Tagging Program. Thirty-four livestock breeders benefited from the campaign's services.

In the northern Jordan Valley, Tubas Veterinary Department continued its campaign in the areas of Salhab, Ein al-Bayda, and Atouf, where 700 vaccinations and 650 animal tagging operations were conducted. Six livestock breeders benefited from the campaign's services.

The total number of operations completed reached 3,850, including 1,900 vaccinations and 1,950 animal tagging operations, bringing the cumulative total for the campaign to 105,890 since its launch. The Ministry of Agriculture affirms the continuation of the national campaign in various targeted areas, which enhances the protection of livestock, raises the level of prevention of epidemic diseases, and contributes to supporting the resilience of livestock breeders and enhancing food security in Palestine.
