The national campaign for livestock tagging and preventative vaccination against foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1) continued its work for the seventh week, achieving a cumulative total of 132,610 vaccinations and tagging operations since its launch. This is part of the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to strengthen the animal health system, reduce the spread of epidemic diseases, and protect livestock in the targeted areas.

In Khallat al-Farra area of ​​Masafer Yatta, veterinary teams carried out 800 vaccinations against foot-and-mouth disease (SAT-1) and 800 animal tagging operations as part of the National Livestock Tagging Program. Twenty-three livestock breeders benefited from the campaign's services. The Tubas Directorate of Agriculture and Veterinary Services also conducted 900 vaccinations and 900 animal tagging operations in the areas of Atouf, Sahl Aqaba, and Ein al-Bayda, benefiting 12 livestock breeders.

The total number of operations completed on the third day of the seventh week reached 3,400, including 1,700 vaccinations and 1,700 animal tagging operations, bringing the cumulative total for the campaign to 132,610 since its launch. The Ministry of Agriculture affirms its commitment to continuing the national campaign in all targeted areas according to the approved program. This will enhance livestock protection, raise the level of prevention against epidemic diseases, contribute to supporting the resilience of livestock breeders, and strengthen food security in Palestine.
