The seventh annual Grape and Women's Products Marketing Days concluded this evening, Tuesday, September 9, 2025. The event was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture in cooperation with the Agricultural Relief Committee, Al-Khader Municipality, and the Bethlehem Governorate Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with funding from the World Food Programme (WFP). A number of official, civil society, and military institutions participated, along with farmers and producers.
Over the course of two days, the event witnessed a large turnout of citizens who came to learn about the diverse local grape varieties and women's products, thus strengthening the position of national produce and contributing to the support of the local economy.
His Excellency Engineer Bader Al-Hawamdeh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and representative of His Excellency the Minister, commended the efforts of the Bethlehem Governorate and all partners in the success of this national agricultural event. He affirmed that the Ministry is committed to implementing its strategy to enhance food and water security, develop agricultural value chains, and protect local production from unfair competition.
Governor Muhammad Taha Abu Aliya affirmed that the marketing days embodied the partners' commitment to supporting Palestinian farmers and bolstering their resilience in the face of challenges and settlement attacks, emphasizing that agriculture will remain a fundamental pillar of the national economy.
For their part, the farmers and participants expressed their satisfaction with the event's success and the opportunity it provided for direct marketing of local products. They thanked the Ministry of Agriculture and the organizing and supporting bodies for their efforts in highlighting this annual event, which reflects the identity of the land and national production.
