The newly elected council of the Agricultural Engineers Syndicate (15th session) officially assumed its duties today at the syndicate's headquarters in Ramallah. The handover ceremony took place in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture, Professor Rizq Slaimiya, His Excellency the Deputy Minister, Engineer Bader Hawamdeh, the outgoing Syndicate President, Engineer Samer Farah, and a representative from the Central Elections Committee.
The first session of the newly elected council was held, and during a closed meeting, the administrative positions were distributed by unanimous agreement among the members as follows:
His Excellency the Minister praised the syndicate's role as a strategic partner in developing the agricultural sector, supporting the rights of engineers and their professional standing. He emphasized the national role of syndicates, which aligns with the aspirations of our people for liberation and an independent state with its institutions.
In his address, the outgoing president commended the spirit of cooperation and harmony among his colleagues, emphasizing that the next phase requires building upon past achievements.
For his part, the newly elected president, Engineer Younis Yamin, stressed the importance of unity and teamwork in achieving the union's ambitious program and serving its members and the general public.
In conclusion, the importance of collaboration between the union, the ministry, and its partners was emphasized, with the aim of strengthening the rights of agricultural engineers and advancing the sector to a level befitting their status and aspirations.
