Tulkarem: July 12, 2026
Tulkarem Directorate of Agriculture, in partnership with the Applied Research Institute – Jerusalem (ARIJ) and Save the Children, completed the delivery of four hydroponic farming units and three biogas digesters to seven farmers from the towns of Kafr al-Labad, Bal'a, and Anabta, as part of the "Towards a Better Future for Children and with Their Participation" project.
The delivery followed the completion of all project phases, which included announcing the application process and conducting field visits by specialized technical committees to verify applicants' eligibility and ensure they met the eligibility criteria, thus guaranteeing that support reached the targeted groups (people with disabilities).
This intervention is part of ongoing efforts to support farmers' resilience and promote the adoption of smart and sustainable agricultural practices by providing modern technologies that contribute to increased agricultural production efficiency, enhanced food production in limited areas, and the encouragement of innovative and environmentally friendly farming systems.
