Tulkarm Directorate of Agriculture, through its "EVAP 3" project team, conducted a field visit to Jenin Governorate targeting 20 farmers from the town of Sida. This visit, undertaken in partnership with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), aimed to identify market needs, gather marketing information, and explore new sales channels for agricultural and livestock products.

The visit included a tour of Al-Hafeed Dairy Factory, where participants learned about dairy product manufacturing and marketing processes, as well as potential collaboration opportunities to enhance the marketing of the group's products and increase their added value.

The tour also included a visit to Bio Pal Farm, the first registered eco-farm in Palestine. Participants learned about the farm's experience in producing several value-added products, including mushrooms, honey, cold-dried fruits, and essential oils. They also visited the farm's nursery and observed the cultivation of specialized and rare varieties, opening new horizons for farmers towards promising products and markets. The tour aimed to enhance participants' skills in agricultural marketing and connect them with key players in the value chain, thereby improving marketing opportunities for their products and increasing the profitability of their agricultural and livestock projects.

This tour is part of a series of training and extension activities implemented by the "EVAP 3" project in partnership with (JICA), within the framework of the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to develop agricultural extension services, promote value-added agriculture, and enhance the competitiveness of Palestinian agricultural products.
