As part of the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts, and through the Tubas and Northern Jordan Valley Directorate of Agriculture, a success story was highlighted: a model almond orchard in the Ibziq area, established within the "Greening Palestine" project. The orchard covers 34 dunams in an area threatened by settlement expansion.

This project is considered a successful model of agricultural intervention, as the planted trees have begun producing fruit, and the farmer is currently harvesting the crop. This reflects the impact of the support provided and the project's sustainability on the ground.

The Ministry provided the farmer with the necessary seedlings, in addition to constructing a fence to protect the land and installing a modern irrigation network. This has contributed to improved productivity and strengthened the farmer's resilience on his land.

The project also provides seasonal and permanent employment opportunities, employing between 30 and 40 workers, thus contributing to supporting the local economy and enhancing livelihoods in the area. This comes as part of the Ministry of Agriculture’s efforts to support farmers, protect threatened agricultural lands, and promote the concept of sustainable agriculture, within the “Greening Palestine” project, which aims to expand the green area and enhance the resilience of citizens on their lands.
