Ministry of Agriculture: Salfit Agriculture Directorate conducts an awareness lecture on olive pests in Iskaka with the participation of 15 beneficiaries within the Field School program funded by UNDP

Salfit Agriculture Directorate, through its Olive Department, conducted an awareness lecture in the village of Iskaka, east of the governorate, as part of the Field School program funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and fifteen women from the local community participated. The lecture addressed the most prominent pests affecting olive trees, methods of prevention, and proper control techniques, all of which contribute to improving productivity and preserving this vital sector.

The lecture was presented by Agricultural Engineer Bilal Al-Aqra, the manager of the Technical Department at the Directorate, in the presence of Engineer Awland Ajlouni, Head of the Olive Department. Experiences were shared, and participants' questions were answered.
