The Directorate announced that the official start date for olive press operations for the current season is October 11, 2026, urging press owners to finalize all necessary procedures and requirements prior to commencing operations on the scheduled date.
These inspections are part of the Ministry of Agriculture’s preparations for the agricultural season and efforts to strengthen oversight of olive presses. They aim to ensure operational readiness in accordance with approved standards, thereby helping to maintain the quality and safety of the olive oil and better serve the farmers.
