Ministry of Agriculture: North Hebron Agriculture and the General Directorate of Forests and Pastures rehabilitate Al-Aroub Forest Nursery.

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance green cover and protect the environment, the Ministry of Agriculture continues to implement its plan to develop forest nurseries. Al-Aroub Forest Nursery, affiliated with the North Hebron Agriculture Directorate, has been rehabilitated with funding from the Palestinian government, in accordance with the General Directorate of Forests and Rangelands' plan aimed at developing nurseries and increasing their production capacity.

The rehabilitation work included the maintenance and upgrading of greenhouses and the upgrading of incubators, which will contribute to increasing the efficiency and quality of forest seedling production.

This project supports national afforestation programs, as forest seedlings are produced and distributed free of charge to citizens, municipalities, and institutions. The goal is to plant hundreds of new dunams, increase forest area, and enhance green cover, thus contributing to environmental protection and mitigating the effects of climate change.
